A place for prayer

Oratory in an old house in Batangas.

I had never seen anything like this before in a private home. I would have labeled this as just a place for prayer but I just discovered that there is a name for it: Oratory. I found this oratory in an old house in Batangas. My picture doesn't show it but it also has a kneeler. I think many devout catholics in the Philippines in the old days set up oratories like this in their homes.
